Nathan guides people on how to overcome money challenges, grow their wealth, and understand the intricacies of their personal financial circumstances. He is the founder and principal financial coach for BlackBird Finance.
Prior to BlackBird Finance, Nathan was a retirement advisor at Transamerica. During this time he helped people develop retirement goals, plan and develop investment strategies. Before Transamerica he was a senior investment specialist at Janus Henderson. He has earned a few financial licenses and is considered a fiduciary so you can rest assured he will have your best interest at heart.
Coaching is sometimes a buzzword that other financial planners use, but not in this case. Nathan is a certified Ramsey Solutions Master Financial Coach and has helped many clients get out of debt and learn the fundamentals of personal finance. His coaching experience doesn’t stop there, as he is a trained life coach by the Co-Active Training Institute, an ICF accredited coaching school.
He graduated with a Masters in Business Administration with distinction from Keller Graduate School of Management and received his Bachelors of Arts in business administration from Western State University of Colorado.
Active in his community, he maintains a role as a board member for a non-profit supporting adults with disabilities. Outside of the office, he loves spending a lot of time snowboarding, photography, and adventuring in the great outdoors.
